How Laura Albouy stays stylish in “slow fashion.”

Fashion is the world’s 2nd biggest pollution industry, and even if I absolutely love to find new collections every week at Zara or other mass-production brands, I can’t ignore that it comes at a great cost for our planet. That’s why I’ve been trying to buy more “slow fashion” items and local designers for a while. I collaborated with Fame and Partners to introduce you to their “Anti-Fast Fashion Shop”.

Amazing concept: each piece that you buy online is customizable to suit you (color, design details, and length) and made-to-order, one at at time. I chose this adorable striped two-piece set featuring an off-the-shoulder top with XXL sleeves and tie detailing at the back, with ruffled shorts. I did not customize it because I thought it was perfect just like it is, but Fame and Partners was offering the possibility to remove the ruffles, the sleeves, the knot…my order was made-to-order (which means no mass production and less waste) and directly shipped to me (no storage), which reduces fashion’s impact on the environment.

Fame and Partners has so many original and modern designs (look at this red floral dress or this long coat), you should check it out! I am wearing it with my new bag by Nusa Luna (you can find this cute straw bag on ETSY).
