How to give your favorite summer print new life. (We’re talking about gingham, of course.)

Chances are, if you’re a follower of fashion, you have at least one gingham-patterned piece in your closet–the print all but took over the spring/summer season in the form of patterned tops, ruffled skirts, and cute little sundresses. But there’s no reason to only reach for gingham for daytime.

The new way to wear gingham? Dress it up. If you’re not sure exactly how to do that, look no further than this outfit from Rachell Vallori. She wore our Zenith Dress–yes, a gingham ball gown–to the AmFAR Gala and proved that this print is way more versatile than you thought.

The Zenith, The Elinor

If you don’t have occasion to wear a ballgown, try its laid-back little sister, the ball skirt. Our gingham skirt looks great with a silk button down (or just a t-shirt, if you want to keep it casual).

What do you think? Will you give gingham a second chance?

Cheers,
