F&P on the streets at #NYFW.

Fashion Week is about two things: runways and street style. And–even though it used to be the other way around–in recent seasons, street style has become a major influence on next season’s runway trends. Where better to look for what’s on the fashion horizon than the street style stars of #NYFW?

While we were scouring the crosswalks for the next chic thing, we noticed a pretty major trend: lots of Fame and Partners. Here are Fame’s favorite #NYFW #FameMoments so far.

TWO WAYS TO WEAR THE JOSIE TWO PIECE

ONE. Rock it like Jill from Little Black Boots. Wear the pieces together, and add some edge with ass-kicking boots and statement accessories.

TWO. Follow Mary Seng’s lead (of Happily Grey) and split up the separates. How major is the Josie skirt with a dramatic white blouse?

Raquel Paiva upstaged the models at Tommy Hilfiger’s historic presentation in her #ootd. Our Delaney pants + a knotted, ’90s-centric tee = style #goals.

THE SLIP DRESS STAYS STRONG

Meggan of Somewhere, Lately paired her Fame and Partners slip dress with a studded leather jacket and a topknot. Consider it the new blogger uniform.

BLACK IS ALWAYS THE NEW BLACK

Taria-ann, the lady behind Survivor on Stilettos, wore head-to-black–but kept things interesting by mixing textures in our Feathered Lover dress: polka dots on top, feathers on the bottom.

LAYERS MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER: CAKE, OUTFITS, EVERYTHING

You might think a cotton sundress can’t work for fall. You’d be wrong. A Constellation blogger Maristella took her Matteah dress into cooler climates by layering it over a long-sleeved tee.

MATCHY-MATCHY MAKES ‘EM LOOK

We love how Tai of The Tai Life styled the sexy, laced-up Abberton dress: with sexy, laced up boots to match.

Which street style look are you feelin’ the most? Leave it in the comments!

Cheers,
FAME
