Use this blogger’s styling tip and double your wardrobe (for no extra $$$).

I love reinventing the pieces I already own in my closet by simply pairing them differently. It allows me to create completely new outfits, without breaking the bank.  That is why, versatility is something I always consider when purchasing clothes. For me, buying pieces that can be worn multiple ways is not only a money saving tip, it is an essential step to creating a complete wardrobe.  Therefore, I wanted to showcase how I wore the Keaton two-piece set, from day-to-night by styling it two different ways.

For the first “day” outfit, I paired the navy top with a simple pair of high-waisted jeans and black heels for a casual, yet very chic summer look. I loved how the very feminine top contrasted against the more disheveled denim. I would wear this outfit to brunch, bridal showers, or truly any daytime event.

If you’re looking to make a statement, look no further. For the second look, I wore the set how it was intended to, pairing both the navy top and skirt together for added drama. I wanted to keep the look clean and simple and therefore added a pair of nude heels, leaving all the attention on the gorgeous set. Shot by the ocean, this outfit truly made me feel like a modern mermaid! Perfect for a summer wedding or a fancy gala.

And voilà! We created two completely different looks by using the same pieces. I hope this inspires you to maximize your wardrobe.
